Albuca spiralis, widely nicknamed 'Frizzle Sizzle', is a South African bulbous succulent famous for its tightly curled, spring-like emerald leaves. Strong sunlight and cool dry conditions tighten the corkscrew curls. In mid-spring, it sends up flower spikes bearing nodding yellow-green blooms that exude a sweet vanilla aroma.
